पवित्र गंगा और वरुणा के संगम तट पर बसा राजघाट, वाराणसी की सबसे प्राचीन बसावटों में से एक माना जाता है। मालवीय पुल के उत्तर में स्थित यह निर्मल घाट इतिहास और पुरातत्व का अनमोल खजाना है। 1940 में भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा की गई खुदाई और बाद में बीएचयू के विद्वानों के शोध ने यहाँ से टेराकोटा की मानव-पशु प्रतिमाएँ तथा प्राचीन मुद्राएँ उजागर कीं, जो इसकी समृद्ध विरासत की साक्षी हैं। मध्यकाल में राजघाट शासकों का प्रमुख निवास क्षेत्र था, जिसने शहर की ऐतिहासिक और सांस्कृतिक यात्रा को आकार देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

बरेहीपानी जलप्रपात

बरेहीपानी भारत का दूसरा सबसे ऊँचा और ओडिशा का सबसे ऊँचा जलप्रपात है। इसकी ऊँचाई 1309 फीट है। इस जलप्रपात का स्रोत बुधबलंगा नदी है, जो पर्वत से होकर बहती है।
