तस्वीर वीडियो में जो महिला दिख रही हैं वो गुजरात की रहने वाली हैं #उषा_पटेल।
जो ब्रिटेन की एक ट्रेन में बिना किसी कारण एक मुस्लिम डेंटिस्ट के साथ झगड़े में पड़ गईं और उन्हें नस्लवादी (Racist) गाली देते हुए बोलीं— "अपने देश मोरक्को या ट्यूनीशिया वापस जाओ।"
लेकिन वो मुस्लिम डेंटिस्ट असल में ब्रिटेन के ही नागरिक थे। (वो वीडियो कमेंट बॉक्स में दिया गया है।)

शायद उषा जी को लगा होगा कि विदेश की धरती पर भी भारत की तरह अल्पसंख्यकों (Minorities) को खुलेआम निशाना बनाना आम बात है, जहाँ नफरत फैलाकर लोग आसानी से बच जाते हैं। लेकिन विदेश में इस तरह का घृणित एजेंडा नहीं चलता।

मुस्लिम डॉक्टर की शिकायत के आधार पर पुलिस ने ट्रेन के अंदर ही वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग देखी और उषा को तुरंत गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
वहाँ हेट स्पीच (नफरत भरे भाषण) और नस्लवाद के खिलाफ इतने सख्त कानून हैं कि सीधे देश से निकालना और आजीवन प्रतिबंध (Lifetime Ban) तक लगा दिया जाता है।

आज समाज में फैली इस नफरत की वजह से ही दुनिया भर में भारत की साख पर असर पड़ रहा है। जब कानून का डंडा चलता है, तो सारी बदतमीजी एक पल में खत्म हो जाती है।

सीख बहुत साफ है: नफरत को अपना धर्म मत बनाओ, क्योंकि कानून सबके लिए बराबर है।🙏🙏🤗

উত্তরপ্রদেশের বেরিলিতে মুসলমানদের ফাঁসানোর বড় ষড়যন্ত্র। বেরিলিতে মহরমের তাজিয়া মিছিল চলাকালীন "পাকিস্তান জিন্দাবাদ" স্লোগান দেওয়া হয়েছিল।

ঘটনাটির একটি ভিডিও ভাইরাল হওয়ার পর হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের সদস্যরা তদন্তের দাবি জানান !

তদন্তে জানা যায় যে, যোগেন্দ্র পাল সিং ও ভুবনেশ কুমার এক শিশুকে দিয়ে ওই স্লোগান দেওয়ানোর নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন এবং সাম্প্রদায়িক উত্তেজনা ছড়ানোর উদ্দেশ্যে নিজেরাই ভিডিওটি ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন!

বেরিলি পুলিশ এ ঘটনায় এফআইআর দায়ের করেছে এবং ওই দুজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে।

পুরুলিয়া জেলায় কুড়াল দিয়ে কুপিয়ে হ*ত্যা করা এক মুসলিম হকারের পরিবার দাবি করেছে যে– সাম্প্রতিককালে বাংলায় ছড়িয়ে পড়া মুসলিম-বিদ্বে*ষী ঘৃ*ণা ও ভয়ের আবহের সঙ্গেই এই হ*ত্যাকাণ্ডের যোগসূত্র রয়েছে। পুলিশ এই ঘটনায় ধর্মীয় বিদ্বে*ষের কোনো ভূমিকার কথা অস্বীকার করেছে।

৯ জুন নিহত হকার, ৪৭ বছর বয়সী আকবর মণ্ডলের ২০ বছর বয়সী ছেলে জুলফিকার বলেন,
“এই ভয়ের আবহের কারণেই আমার বাবাকে হ*ত্যা করা হয়েছে।” ১০ জুন জুলফিকারের সঙ্গে ‘দ্য ওয়্যার’ কথা বলে, যখন সে তার বাবার মরদেহ পাশের বাঁকুড়া জেলার পুনিসোল গ্রামে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিল।

এই এলাকাটি সাধারণত ‘জঙ্গলমহল’ নামে পরিচিত – অর্থাৎ এটি একটি বনভূমি, যা অতীতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রাজনৈতিক আন্দোলনের কেন্দ্রস্থল ছিল।

দারিদ্র্যের কারণে জুলফিকার পড়াশোনা ছাড়তে বাধ্য হয়েছিল এবং তার বাবার মতোই পুরুলিয়া জেলার বন্দওয়ান অঞ্চলে হকার হিসেবে কাজ করত। তিনি বলেন, এই জঘন্য অপরাধ তার পরিবার ও গ্রাম উভয়কেই নাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে।

জুলফিকার জানান– ৯ই জুন সকাল সকাল আকবর তার ঠেলাগাড়িতে করে স্টিলের বাসনপত্র ফেরি করতে বেরিয়ে ছিলেন, সেই সময় হঠাৎই তাকে সুপুরদিহি গ্রামের একটি বাড়ির ভেতরে টেনে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখানে আকবরের অপরিচিত এক ব্যক্তি তাকে আক্রমণ করে। জুলফিকার বলেন– লোকটি প্রথমে আকবরকে লাঠি দিয়ে পেটায় এবং এরপর যখন তিনি আত্মরক্ষার চেষ্টা করেন, তখন তাকে কুড়াল দিয়ে আঘাত করে।
জুলফিকার জানতে পেরেছেন যে, আকবরকে একটি ছোরা দিয়েও আঘাত করা হয়েছিল।

জুলফিকার বলেন, “দুপুর নাগাদ বান্দওয়ান থানার একজন অফিসার আমাকে ফোন করে বলেন, ‘আপনার বাবাকে খু*ন করা হয়েছে। অবিলম্বে বান্দওয়ান হাসপাতালে চলে আসুন’।”

সেই সময় জুলফিকার অন্য একটি গ্রামে গৃহস্থালীর জিনিসপত্র ফেরি করছিলেন। জুলফিকার বলেন– “যখন আমি হাসপাতালে পৌঁছালাম, আমি আমার বাবার মরদেহ দেখলাম। তাঁর মাথাটা থেঁতলে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। দৃশ্যটা ছিল ভয়াবহ। তাঁর প্রায় পুরো শরীর রক্তে ভেসে গিয়েছিল। ডাক্তাররা আমাকে বললেন যে, আকবর মণ্ডলকে হাসপাতালে আনার অনেক আগেই তিনি মারা গিয়েছিলেন।”

In Purulia district, the family of a Muslim hawker who was hacked to death with an axe has claimed that this killing is linked to the atmosphere of Muslim-hatred and fear that has recently spread across Bengal. The police have denied any role of religious hatred in this incident.
On June 9, Zulfikar, the 20-year-old son of 47-year-old hawker Akbar Mandal who was killed, said,
“This killing happened because of this atmosphere of fear.” On June 10, ‘The Wire’ spoke to Zulfikar while he was taking his father’s body to Punisol village in the neighboring Bankura district.

This area is generally known as ‘Junglemahal’ – that is, it is a forested region which was once the center of important political movements.

Due to poverty, Zulfikar had to drop out of studies and worked as a hawker like his father in the Bandwan area of Purulia district. He said this heinous crime has shaken both his family and the village.

Zulfikar said – Early on the morning of June 9, Akbar had gone out with his cart selling steel utensils when he was suddenly dragged inside a house in Supurdihi village. There, an unknown person attacked Akbar. Zulfikar said – The man first beat Akbar with a stick and then, when he tried to defend himself, struck him with an axe.
Zulfikar has come to know that Akbar was also stabbed with a dagger.

Zulfikar said, “Around noon, an officer from Bandwan police station called me and said, ‘Your father has been murdered. Come to Bandwan hospital immediately’.”

At that time, Zulfikar was selling household goods in another village. Zulfikar said – “When I reached the hospital, I saw my father’s body. His head was crushed. The sight was horrific. His entire body was soaked in blood. The doctors told me that Akbar Mandal had died long before he was brought to the hospital.”
