Alles was zählt Wahre Fans Why? Becoz, it was found that Lebong... was about 10 degrees warmer than Darjeeling and enjoyed more sunshine.

A spur situated just below the town of Darjeeling at an elevation of 5970 feet above sea level, known as 'Ala'e bong' (among the native Lap.che'es meaning 'the tongue-shaped spur') as Lebong today, was one of the first places in Darjeeling to have attracted the European settlers. The cultivation of tes also began for the first time in this area. THIS WAS IN THE YEAR 1843.....
The name Lebong came

from the the word Alebong which means foundation or base & truly it is a base because it is a valley that stretches upto the banks of river Rangeet.
