The journey of IRCDUC began in 2010 with a few committed individuals determined to resist forced evictions and stand for justice. By 2018, this effort had grown into a full-fledged organisation.

Over the years, through evidence-based advocacy, research, and sustained engagement, we have worked to ensure that the voices of urban deprived communities are heard, recognised, and acted upon.

We remain deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with us and believed in this journey. We look forward to your continued support and presence.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead
