Kora Kagaz literally means ‘Blank Paper'. It is a project that strives to reduce the wastage of paper by making meaningful use of it. Wasted paper which is unused is made into new books and given to those who cannot afford them and used paper is recycled. It wishes to address in a simple way , two important issues related to our society :
I ) Subsidising education and
II ) Decreasing carbon foo

The project also wishes to employ the underprivileged to bind the books , thereby providing them with seasonal employment to sustain their livelihood and hence help integrate them into the society. Further , other required stationery items will also be given to the children. Footwear will also be provided to the children to help prevent diseases and hence aid better health. On one hand , there are those who misuse the abundant resources at their disposal and on the other are those who have to fight for their rightful share. We, at Kora Kagaz wish to be the connecting link between these two groups as we truly believe in making a difference and giving back :)
