Mehbooba M***i Reaches Out to J&K Leaders, Calls for Unified Representation to PM and HM

PDP President Mehbooba M***i has written to a broad spectrum of political and civil society leaders across Jammu and Kashmir, urging them to come together for a joint and coordinated outreach to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In her letter, M***i reached out to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, BJP Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra, CPI(M) leader Mohd. Yousuf Tarigami, People’s Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone, MP Engineer Rashid, AAP President Mehraj Malik, PDF Chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, J&K National Panthers Party President Harsh Dev Singh, Shiv Sena (J&K unit) President Manish Sahni, Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti President Sanjay Tickoo, and Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Chairman Jaspal Singh.

M***i has proposed a united political initiative, urging leaders to set aside differences and jointly advocate for the resumption of meaningful dialogue on Jammu and Kashmir. She emphasized that a collective voice is essential to represent the aspirations, grievances, and concerns of the people of the region at the national level.

PDP leader and District President Budgam, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, has strongly condemned the reported cutting down of an apple orchard in Kultreh, Chadoora, by unknown miscreants.
Expressing deep concern over the incident, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat said that such acts not only cause huge financial losses to orchard owners but also threaten the livelihood of families dependent on horticulture. He described the incident as unfortunate and unacceptable, demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.
He urged the district administration and police authorities to take immediate cognizance of the incident, identify the culprits, and initiate strict legal action against those involved. He said that those responsible must be brought to justice so that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
Mohammad Yaseen Bhat also appealed to the administration to assess the losses suffered by the orchard owner and provide appropriate assistance and compensation. He emphasized that the horticulture sector is the backbone of the local economy and requires protection from such criminal acts.
He expressed solidarity with the affected family and assured them of his full support in their pursuit of justice.

PDP District President Budgam, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dhobi, father of Mushtaq Ahmed Dhobi, resident of Chadoora.
In his condolence message, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He said that the loss is irreparable and deeply painful for the family and all those who knew him.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased and bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.

Senior leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and District President Budgam, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, has expressed gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, especially SSP Budgam, SHO Budgam, and the district administration for solving the r**e and murder case of a minor girl within just 30 hours.
Mohammad Yaseen Bhat appreciated the swift action and professional investigation carried out by the police and administration, saying that such timely action helps restore public confidence in the justice system.
He strongly condemned the heinous crime and demanded strict punishment for the accused. He urged the authorities and judiciary to ensure that the culprit is awarded the death penalty so that justice is delivered to the victim’s family and such incidents are prevented in future.
He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for strength and patience for them during this difficult time.
