Two foxes who fell into a well at Pimpalgaon were rescued Bramhapuri - Pimpalgaon in taluka was found fallen into a well at the gate of the village, and there was a rush in the village. The information of this incident was received by Mr. Manoj Wathe, President of Earth Conservation Organization. Based on the information received, with the help of Forest Department Bramhapuri and Earth Conservation Organization, after three hours of tireless efforts, both the foxes were brought out of the well safely.

Both the foxes were female and were safely released in the same area after confirming that they were healthy. Wildlife in India is rapidly decreasing due to increasing human interference. Some species are mainly found in bushy areas. Foxes play the role of scavengers in nature by eating dead animals. Rats, rabbits are their main prey. In the said rescue work by Forest Department Bramhapuri Shri S. D. Balde Conservator of Forests, Sri Dist. Y. Kagane Forest Guard, Shri M. Y. Borchate Conservator of Forests, Shri.Lakhe.

Four accused arrested in Tiger Poaching case of Pench detected on 12 january 2023

A tiger death was reported in Pench Tiger reserve, Maharashtra on 12th January, 2022. Carcass was found in Kodu Talav in Protected Forest of Compartment No 256 of Sillari beat in Paoni Unified Buffer Range. On the same date, in late evening 3 offenders were caught from Ghoti village. The postmortem of carcass was carried in the morning as per NTCA SOP in presence of Field Director, A. Sreelakshmi, Deputy Director Prabhu Nath Shukla, ACF Atul Deokar, Vet officer Dr. Sujit Kolangat and Dr. Sachin Kamboj .At this time, Mr. Bandu Uikey from Satpuda Foundation was present as NTCA representative while Mr. Ajinkya Bhatkar represented Chief Wildlife Warden, Maharashtra State. Arrested accused were produced before JMFC Ramtek where court have granted Forest custody for 3 days. Today, late evening one more accused was taken under custody and arrested later on. Further investigation is in progress by ACF Atul Deokar & RFO Jayesh Tayde under guidance of A. Sreelakshmi, Field Director & Dr. Prabhunath Shukla, Deputy Director.
