Swaraj Abhiyan Bhagalpur स्वराज अभियान , भागलपुर WHY ARE WE ENTERING POLITICS? This people's anti-corruption movement has exposed the ugly and greedy face of our politicians.

For the past two years millions of common Indians came out on streets to fight against the biggest evil in our country today - corruption. No political party in India today works for the common man's needs. The Janlokpal Movement was a call to all the politicians of India to listen to the common man's plea. For almost 2 years we tried every single way available to plead our cause to the government

- peaceful protesting, courting arrest, indefinite fasting several rounds of negotiations with the ruling government - we tried everything possible to convince the government to form a strong anti- corruption law. But despite the huge wave of public support in favour of a strong anti-corruption law, all political parties cheated the people of India and deliberately sabotaged the Janlokpal Bill. The time for peaceful fasts and protests is gone. This is the time for action. Since most political parties are corrupt, greedy and thick skinned, it's time to bring political power back into the people's hands. We are not saying that every single politician is corrupt and greedy. There are many good intentioned people in politics today who want to work honestly for the people of India. But the current system of polity does not allow honest politicians to function. We are also not claiming that every single person who joins our party will be hundred percent honest. We are saying that it is the system that has become very corrupt and needs to be changed immediately. Our aim in entering politics is not to come to power; we have entered politics to change the current corrupt and self-serving system of politics forever. So that no matter who comes to power in the future, the system is strong enough to withstand corruption at any level of governance.

'स्वराज इंडिया दल' पर कोई अविश्वास करता है तो ठीक करता है।इसका उन्हें पूरा हक़ है।देश की जनता बार-बार छली गयी है।कोई क्या करे? कितना विश्वास करे? दलों की जो हालत है,उसमें यह अविश्वास जरूरी है।स्वराज इंडिया के लिए बेहतर है कि लोग अविश्वास करें।उससे सवाल करें।तीखी आलोचना हो।आखिर वह बतायेगा न कि राजनीति के इस दलदल से मुक्ति कैसे हो? या फिर एक और दलदल से जनता मुख़ातिब होगी? बुद्धिजीवियों,पत्रकारों,सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं और जनता को भी सोचना है कि दलों की हालत ऐसी क्यों है?किसने की यह हालत? क्यों आदमी दल से सत्ता में पहुँचते ही अपने वादे पर कायम नहीं रहता?सत्ता भ्रष्ट करती है या वह खुद भ्रष्ट होता है? क्या राजनीति का अर्थ सत्ता पाना ही रह गया है? जनता हारनेवालों का स्वागत नहीं करती,हर हाल में जो जीत जाता है,उसका स्वागत करती है।कोई ईमानदारी से चुनाव लडा या बेईमानी से,जनता जीते हुए उम्मीदवार को उगता सूर्य मानती है।हर वर्ग,जाति व समूह की अपनी मानसिकता है,स्वार्थ है।ऐसे में ईमानदार और वैकल्पिक राजनीति की बात करना आसान नहीं है और आसान नहीं है इसपर कायम रहना।स्वराज इंडिया के नेताओ और कार्यकर्ताओं को सच्चाई को समझना है।आलोचना,निंदा आदि होंगी ही।इसे वे कैसे लेते हैं,इसपर बहुत कुछ निर्भर करेगा।

Swaraj Abhiyan Mourns the Murder of Innocent Villagers by Police Firing in Jharkhand: Is Dismantling Social & Constitutional Legal Framework for Gunpoint Development the BJP Governments’ Agenda?

- In the aftermath of the Jharkhand firing and killing, Union Environment Forest and Climate Change Minister Anil M Dave’s uninformed, disdainful and shocking statement that the Central Government will change forest and wildlife laws to make forests productive is alarming – Swaraj Abhiyan will join mass protests to stop this sinister plan.

- Within one month, this is the second incident of death by police firing at Jharkhand and the Central and State Governments seem to be comfortable with the loss of lives of the very same citizens who elected them to power.

- The Raghubar Das BJP Government is allegedly violating Mining, Land Acquisition and Forest Rights Act through manipulation – Swaraj Abhiyan demands independent investigation and public announcement of the results of the investigation.

- Swaraj over land and mineral rights of communities being snatched – tribals and tribal rights being trivialized, trampled and traumatized - Swaraj Abhiyan demands that all laws to protect tribals, land rights and community rights be observed in letter and spirit.

- Brutality towards democratic rights and peaceful movements seems to be the order of the day in Jharkhand – Swaraj Abhiyan demands identification of the officials responsible for the deaths and appropriate punishment.

राजनीति में सत्यनिष्ठा, पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही के लक्ष्य के साथ देश में वैकल्पिक राजनीति और सच्चे स्वराज को स्थापित करने के लिए हम सब ने मिलकर "स्वराज इंडिया" का गठन किया है। जब हम कहते हैं कि वैकल्पिक राजनीति करेंगे तो हमारा मतलब होता है कि हम अलग तरह की राजनीति करेंगे। वैकल्पिक राजनीति की शुरुआत हमने संगठन से की है। स्वराज इंडिया कई मापदंडों पर दूसरे राजनीतिक दलों से अलग है और 21वीं सदी के भारत का विजन सामने रखता है।

1. स्वराज इंडिया ने स्वेक्षा से आरटीआई के अन्दर आने का निर्णय लिया है और इसके लिए एक जन सूचना अधिकारी भी घोषित किया।
2. स्वराज इंडिया ने निर्णय लिया है कि पार्टी में पारदर्शिता और सहभागिता पर आधारित उम्मीदवार चयन प्रक्रिया होगी।
3 स्वराज इंडिया ने निर्णय लिया है कि सिर्फ़ ऐसे किसी मोशन के अलावा जो सरकार गिरने का कारण हो सकता है, इस पार्टी के जनप्रतिनिधियों पर “व्हिप” लागू नहीं होगा।
4 स्वराज इंडिया ने निर्णय लिया है कि पार्टी के अन्दर हर स्तर पर “अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रा” होगी और मतभेदों को भी आदर और जगह दी जाएगी।
5 ऐसे समय में जब राजनैतिक पार्टियाँ व्यक्तिवाद और शक्ति केन्द्रीकरण से ग्रषित हैं, स्वराज इंडिया ने निर्णय लिया है कि पार्टी को “Presidium” जैसे संगठनात्मक मॉडल के अनुसार चलाया जाएगा जो इसकी सबसे बड़ी निर्णय लेने वाली संस्था होगी और सामूहिक नेतृत्व से चलेगी।
6. ऐसे समय में जब राष्ट्रीय पार्टियाँ दिल्ली दरबार से चलती हैं, स्वराज इंडिया के संविधान में इस बात का ध्यान रखते हुए निर्णय लेने में विकेंद्रीकरण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए संघीय ढाँचा बनाया गया है जिसमें राज्य और जिला यूनिट को पर्याप्त शक्ति होगी।
7. ऐसी दुनिया में जहाँ राजनीतिक पार्टियाँ पुरानी विचारधाराओं, विभाजनकारी और खतरनाक नीतियों या लोकलुभावनी मुद्दों के आधार पर चल रही हैं, स्वराज इंडिया 21वीं सदी के भारत का विजन लेकर आया है जो “स्वराज दर्शन” नामक पुस्तक में लिखित है।

बिहार एक कठिन राज्य है और उसकी राजनीति और भी कठिन।स्वराज इंडिया यहॉं कैसे काम करेगी,क्या एजेंडा होगा,आम जनता तक कैसे पहुँचेगी,इसका स्पष्ट ख़ाका खींचना होगा और सबसे बडी बात कि उसकी वाहक शक्तियॉं कौन होगी? यहॉं लोकतंत्र का घोर अभाव है।जाति,संप्रदाय ,अपराध -राजनीति में प्रभावी हैं।पूँजी का असर है ही।स्वराज इंडिया की राजनीति उसके रास्ते चलेगी नहीं।बेहतर हो कि स्वराज इंडिया के चुने हुए पचास साथी दो-तीन दिनों तक बैठें।अध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र यादव,महासचिव अजीत झा,प्रशांत भूषण और डॉ आनंद कुमार साथ में रहें।सर्वांगीण चर्चा हो।बिहार के लिए एक पुस्तिका जारी करें और ठोस कार्यक्रम बनायें ।
