The Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025 was celebrated from 17th September , 2025, to 16th October , 2025, across 1340 Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) in South Tripura district. Various activities were conducted to promote nutrition awareness and healthy practices among women and children.
These activities aimed to improve the nutritional status of women and children in the district and promote healthy habits. The celebrations were a step towards achieving the goals of Poshan Abhiyan and creating a healthier community.

During the event, four senior citizens were awarded for their special contributions to society:
Zela Shrestha Naboi Urdha Prabin Sanman, Zela Shreshtha Karmajibon Sanman,Zela Sreshtha Prabin Srijan Kala Sanman,Zela Shrestha Sahasikata Sanman . A health camp was organized for senior citizens, and aids and appliances were distributed among them. The guests also felicitated all senior citizens with roses and pens.
The celebration of event aimed to promote the well-being and dignity of older persons, recognizing their valuable contributions to society. The event provided a platform for the community to come together and appreciate the efforts of senior citizens. By honoring senior citizens, the program emphasized the importance of respecting and caring for the elderly, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their active participation in society.
