A small step towards security, a big support in difficult times.

Late Rani Nama, a member of Unnati Mahila Dal, had enrolled under PMJJBY insurance to ensure financial protection for her family. After her unfortunate demise on 23/04/2025, her son Subhrajit Nama received a claim settlement of ₹2 lakh, providing much-needed support during a time of crisis.

This timely assistance became possible because of her foresight in opting for insurance coverage. Special appreciation goes to the Bank Sakhi didi, who played a crucial role in guiding and supporting the family throughout the claim process.

The claim was successfully processed through TGB Jolaibari Branch under Jolaibari BMMU, ensuring that the beneficiary received support without delay.

🌿 From Forest to Livelihood – A Story of Skill & Sustainability 🌿

Aongmrabaji Producer Group (PG) from East Pilak VC, under Debdaru CLF and BMMU Jolaibari, has taken a remarkable step towards self-reliance through handmade broom production. 🧹✨

Using locally sourced broom grass and sticks from nearby forest areas, the members are beautifully transforming traditional knowledge into sustainable income. From cleaning and sorting to bundling and binding—each broom is crafted with care, ensuring durability and eco-friendliness. 🌱

💪 With dedication and teamwork, the group has successfully produced around 240 broom sticks, each valued at ₹50—marking a promising beginning towards strengthening rural livelihoods.

👏 A big salute to these hardworking members for turning local resources into economic opportunities and paving the way for a greener future! 🌍💚

দেবদারু সিএলএফ এবং জোলাইবাড়ি বিএমএমইউ-এর অধীনে পূর্ব পিলাক ভি.সি.-এর অংম্রবাজি প্রোডিউসার গ্রুপ (পিজি) হাতে তৈরি ঝাড়ু উৎপাদনের মাধ্যমে আত্মনির্ভরশীলতার দিকে এক উল্লেখযোগ্য পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। 🧹✨

কাছাকাছি বনভূমি থেকে সংগৃহীত স্থানীয় ঝাড়ুর ঘাস এবং কাঠি ব্যবহার করে, সদস্যরা ঐতিহ্যবাহী জ্ঞানকে সুন্দরভাবে টেকসই আয়ে রূপান্তরিত করছেন। পরিষ্কার করা ও বাছাই করা থেকে শুরু করে আঁটি বাঁধা ও বাঁধা পর্যন্ত—প্রতিটি ঝাড়ু যত্ন সহকারে তৈরি করা হয়, যা এর স্থায়িত্ব এবং পরিবেশ-বান্ধবতা নিশ্চিত করে। 🌱

💪 নিষ্ঠা এবং দলবদ্ধ প্রচেষ্টার মাধ্যমে, দলটি সফলভাবে প্রায় ২৪০টি ঝাড়ুর কাঠি তৈরি করেছে, যার প্রতিটির মূল্য ৫০ টাকা—যা গ্রামীণ জীবনযাত্রাকে শক্তিশালী করার পথে এক আশাব্যঞ্জক সূচনা। 👏 স্থানীয় সম্পদকে অর্থনৈতিক সুযোগে পরিণত করে এবং এক সবুজ ভবিষ্যতের পথ প্রশস্ত করার জন্য এই পরিশ্রমী সদস্যদের জানাই আন্তরিক স্যালুট 🌍💚

This initiative reflects our ongoing efforts to strengthen the Farmer Producer Company (FPC) by bringing all Producer Groups (PGs) and Integrated Farming Clusters (IFCs) under one unified platform. Our goal is to ensure timely access to quality agricultural and allied inputs for Mahila Kishans at prices more affordable than the market rate.

Ashtami Didi from Radhanagar Gram Panchayat (Rajnagar BMMU) has set an inspiring example through successful onion cultivation with support from ICAR and Agri CSP.

With proper guidance, scientific techniques, and improved farming practices, she achieved a significant increase in onion production compared to previous seasons. 📈🧅

This success has not only enhanced her income but also boosted her confidence. Today, she is motivating and guiding other women farmers in her village to adopt improved onion cultivation practices. 👩‍🌾💪

📌 Executive Committee Meeting | Kalashi CLF, Jolaibari RD Block.

The Executive Committee meeting held on 30th March 2026 at Kalashi CLF marked a day of reflection, review, and renewed commitment towards strengthening community institutions. 🤝
Key highlights included a comprehensive review of the Annual Action Plan (AAP) with a focus on Target vs Achievement, ensuring progress stays aligned with goals. The AAP tracking sheet was thoroughly examined, emphasizing the importance of timely and accurate data management. 📊

Discussions on the Business Development Plan (BDP) brought forward valuable insights on ongoing livelihood activities, challenges, and practical solutions. A detailed cadre review was also conducted to enhance roles, responsibilities, and overall performance.
Sub-committees presented their monthly progress, while important deliberations were held on SHG and individual loan status, including disbursement and repayment. 💼

The meeting concluded with a review of SHG monitoring activities, reinforcing the collective effort to build stronger, more resilient SHGs and community systems.

🌟 Strengthening Grassroots Convergence for Inclusive Development 🌟

Under the SISD vertical, Rajnagar BMMU, TRLM successfully organized a one-day LRP Review Meeting, bringing together knowledge, experience, and inspiration at one platform.
The presence of respected SPC Sir and Mentor Ma’am from Kudumbashree added immense value, as they shared insightful guidance on PRI–CBO convergence and its future direction. With the active participation of BMC Sir, DRP, and dedicated LRP Didis, the session turned into a powerful learning and motivation hub. 💡
The discussions not only enhanced understanding but also ignited a renewed commitment among the LRP Didis to drive impactful change at the grassroots level.

A heartfelt gratitude to Abhranil Bhattacharjee Sir for his constant support and guidance, which played a key role in the success of this program, even in his absence. 🙏

The 3-day Block Level Online Individual Enterprise Loan Application Submission System Training was successfully conducted under Rajnagar BMMU, with enthusiastic participation from Vitta Sakhis and CRP-EPs.

A live demonstration on direct online submission of individual loan applications to banks marked a significant step towards faster processing and improved accessibility to financial services. 💻✨
