10 genuine questions for JKNC and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that the people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve clear answers to before the proposed NC protest for restoration of Statehood in New Delhi:

1. What exactly does the NC leadership mean by “restoration of Statehood”? Does the party seek restoration of the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir that acceded to the Union of India under the Instrument of Accession, or does it seek a newly constituted State under a fresh reorganisation framework?

2. If the demand is for a fresh State under a new constitutional arrangement, would that not weaken the future case for restoration of Article 370 and the pre-2019 constitutional position? Does the party seek restoration of Article 370, Article 371-type safeguards, or only Statehood?

3. Are these protests also intended to challenge the constitutional changes introduced in August 2019? If so, how does the NC reconcile this position while governing under the framework of the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019?

4. Beyond protests, does the NC intend to challenge the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019 before the Supreme Court or pursue any other constitutional remedy?

5. What concrete outcomes does the party expect from this protest? Is the objective symbolic political messaging, or will the party seek a formal assurance, timeline, dialogue mechanism, or parliamentary commitment from the Union Government?

6. Has the party prepared a formal framework document or proposal for presentation to the Government of India? If yes, what are its key constitutional, political, and administrative demands?

7. Has the NC sought formal meetings with the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, or leaders of major national parties to advance the Statehood demand?

8. Will this remain a one-day protest, or is it the beginning of a sustained political movement if no immediate response is received?

9. What specific role will NC MPs play inside Parliament beyond demonstrations and public statements outside it?

10. Does the party intend to build a broader constitutional and political consensus with regional and national parties on the future of Jammu & Kashmir? Will the INDIA bloc be part of that effort?

These questions are not intended to question the leadership's intentions but to seek clarity on the vision, roadmap, strategy, and constitutional position behind the proposed Statehood movement.

Looks like all the promises were fulfilled only in Dachigam National Park!

✅ Article 370 restored for Hangul deer only.
✅ 1 lakh jobs provided to Hangul and their families.
✅ Free 12 gas cylinders for every mosquito.
✅ 200 units of free electricity for all bees and wildlife.

Meanwhile, the common people are still waiting for the promises made to them.

People voted for governance, employment, development, and accountability—not for announcements that remain confined to speeches and headlines.

The real question is: when will ordinary citizens see the benefits that were promised to them?

It is deeply concerning that Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir, who are preparing to return home after completing their sacred pilgrimage, are reportedly being subjected to unnecessary hardship due to the insensitive and non-cooperative approach of the concerned Hajj authorities and airline officials.

These pilgrims state that before departing for Saudi Arabia, they were instructed to reduce their luggage by 15 kilograms. They are now being informed that on the Ahmedabad–Srinagar sector they will be allowed only 5 kg of check-in baggage and 7 kg of hand baggage, while the remaining luggage—up to 30 kg—will be transported separately by road.

This abrupt decision has caused grave concern among the pilgrims, who fear that sacred items, gifts, and perishable goods purchased during their stay in Saudi Arabia could be damaged, lost, or spoiled during transit. Such uncertainty has added needless stress and anguish to their journey.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government must intervene immediately and take up the matter with the Hajj Committee of India and the concerned airline authorities. Pilgrims who have completed a sacred journey deserve dignity, respect, and proper facilitation. They should not be subjected to such avoidable inconvenience and mental anguish.

A question to all the MLAs of North Kashmir:

We keep hearing promises and speeches, but have you looked at the condition of the roads in North Kashmir? Whether it is Sopore , Baramulla, Bandipora, Handwara, Kupwara, Rafiabad, Uri, or many other areas, the roads are in a terrible state. Tell us honestly, which road can you proudly call a good road?

People are not expecting miracles. They are not asking for luxury projects. They are only asking for basic facilities that every citizen deserves good roads, regular water supply, and reliable electricity.

The people of North Kashmir are suffering every day because of poor infrastructure. Students, patients, workers, and ordinary citizens face difficulties simply because the basic necessities have been ignored.

If you cannot provide these essential services, then what is the purpose of holding public office? The people elected you to serve them, not to make excuses.

It is time to stop making promises and start delivering results. Fix the roads. Address the water crisis. Resolve the power issues. The people of North Kashmir deserve better.

When emotions override reason at the ballot box, democracy suffers. Blind support and emotional voting often pave the way for unaccountable governance, and in the end, it is the common citizen who pays the price.
A strong democracy depends on informed decisions, accountability, and leadership that serves the people rather than personal interests. The true strength of any political movement lies in standing with ordinary citizens, addressing their concerns, and working for justice, development, and equal opportunities.
Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party emphasizes the welfare of the common people, particularly the poor, youth, farmers, workers, and marginalized sections of society, with a focus on development, dignity, and public welfare.
Vote with wisdom, not emotion. Support leadership that delivers results, remains accountable, and puts people first.
