📢 A Message from Shri Tushar Girinath sir, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development Department, and Chairman, BSWML,
Outlines the roadmap for Swachh Survekshan 2025-26.
To achieve our goal of a cleaner Bengaluru, the Urban Development Department and BSWML are prioritizing enhanced processing capabilities. However, source segregation remains the backbone of this effort.
Key Directives:
✅ Mandatory Segregation: Dry, Wet, and Sanitary waste must be separated at the source.
✅ New Hazardous Waste Category: Starting April 1st, items like bulbs, cells, and batteries must be handled as a separate special category.
✅ Call to Action: Sustainable urban development is a shared responsibility between the government and its citizens.
Join us in setting a national benchmark for urban cleanliness. 🌿🏙️
