The Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration Government of Goa in coordination with the Food Safety Standards Authority of India conducted the Walkathon 2025 in lieu of promoting the eat right initiative and the initiative of healthy diet and exercise of the FSSAI on the 08th of February 2025 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao Goa. The event was graced by Shri Digambar Kamat Honourable MLA of Margao along with Shri Manohar Borkar Vice Chairman Ravindra Bhavan, Director Food and Drugs Administration Bambolim Goa Smt Shweta Dessai , Designated Officers of FDA Goa Smt Sanjyot Kudalkar (South Goa) and Shri Richard Noronha (North Goa) , it commenced at 7:00am and concluded at 9:30 am .
This walkathon was attended by various Schools, colleges government officials from different departments , officials from various private organisations and the general public . The program was attended by more than 750 participants and was successful.

FSO Shruti Pilarnekar was also present.
