An exhilarating day of cricket came to an end today as the highly anticipated final match was played between Sani Darwan and Wagni Darwan! Both teams showcased incredible sportsmanship, talent, and passion on the field, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats until the very last ball.
A huge congratulations and special thanks to Naseer Ahmad Ganie for impeccably organizing this wonderful tournament and providing a fantastic platform for our local youth to shine! 🌟

PDP Seeks Restoration of Pre-August 5 Position, Not Just Statehood: Hanjura

Srinagar, May 19: People's Democratic Party General Secretary Lone Ghulam Nabi Hanjura on Monday said that the party is not merely seeking restoration of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir but wants the reinstatement of the constitutional and political position that existed prior to August 5, 2019.
Speaking to media persons at the party headquarters, Hanjura said that while several political parties are limiting their demand to restoration of statehood, the PDP continues to advocate for the return of the rights and special status enjoyed by the people before the abrogation of Article 370.
He said that Bharatiya Janata Party and other parties repeatedly claim that statehood will be restored at an “appropriate time,” but people are unable to understand what that timeframe actually means. He added that Assembly elections have already been conducted and the delimitation process has also been completed, yet the promise of restoring statehood remains unfulfilled.
Hanjura further said that PDP leader Waheed Ur Rehman Para had moved a resolution in the Assembly seeking restoration of statehood and Article 370, but Jammu and Kashmir National Conference did not allow the matter to be taken up for discussion.
He alleged that Omar Abdullah was politicising the issue to serve party interests and prolong political mileage. Part 7
