In the Talib Hussain Case, the Must Act with Restraint, Wisdom, and Respect for the Rule of Law: DrNazaket Bhatti Alig
The authorities should handle the Talib Hussain case with extreme care and responsibility. Any action taken must be based on evidence, due process, and the Constitution—not on emotions, pressure, or misuse of authority.
Many people still remember the controversy surrounding the detention of Mehraj Malik, where court proceedings and public debate raised serious questions. Any future action that appears arbitrary or legally weak risks further damaging public confidence in institutions.
The detention of Talib Hussain has already generated strong reactions among many sections of society. Authorities must understand that public trust is built through fairness, transparency, and accountability—not through force.
Equally concerning are allegations circulating about inappropriate conduct by certain police personnel. If such allegations are true, they should be investigated impartially. Professional policing requires discipline, restraint, and respect for citizens regardless of political or social differences.
Jammu & Kashmir is governed by the Constitution and the rule of law. The strength of any democratic institution lies not in its power to intimidate, but in its ability to act fairly, lawfully, and transparently.
The people deserve justice, due process, and accountability. The police deserve public trust. Both can only be achieved through lawful and professional conduct. We Support Talib Hussain
