Todayโs meeting of lifesavers United' Volunteers and Blood Donation & Thelesamiya awareness program at Riverfront was truly wonderful. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend and be a part of this meaningful initiative. Your presence and support make a real difference.
After the event, I had the opportunity to visit the Red Cross, where I spent around two hours gaining valuable insights. It was a great learning experience to understand the complete process of blood donation โ from collection to component separation and finally reaching the patient in need.
We also had an insightful discussion with Medical Director Mrs. Jhalak Patel, who shared detailed knowledge about how a blood center operates and the important precautions every blood donor should take. Also visited thelesamiya Care center and there was a lot of discussion about its prevention and control. It was reassuring to know their commitment, as they assured full support to Lifesavers United whenever any patient requires urgent help.
Overall, it was a day full of learning, awareness, and strengthening our mission to save lives. ๐๐ฉธ
