🌿 We are delighted to share that Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti (GRGVS) has been honored with the CSR Excellence & Best Practices Award 2026 in the category of Environment Conservation & Sustainability.

This prestigious award was presented by Padma Shri Dr. Kartikeya Sarabhai, Founder and Director of the Centre for Environment Education. Receiving this recognition from one of India’s foremost environmental leaders is a moment of immense pride for all of us.

We were privileged to receive this honor in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Shri Bharat R. Desai, Dr. K. N. Madhusoodanan, Mrs. Preeti Patel, and Dr. Geetika Madan Patel.

We are hiring 3 Junior Team Members for Volunteering & Community Engagement roles at Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti (GRGVS).

This is not a desk job. This role is for someone who wants to be on the ground — working with corporates, schools, colleges, , and communities.

🌱 What you will work on:
• Corporate volunteering & CSR engagement
• School & college (NSS) coordination
• Environment awareness drives & clean-up activities
• School painting & community initiatives
• Circular Dignity Project for Clothes, Food bank, in kind donation drives
• Volunteer management & event ex*****on
• Field visits

✅ Who should apply:
• Strong communication skills (English & Hindi required)
• Comfortable with field work & managing people
• / experience is a big advantage
• Fresher / 0–2 years experience
• Ahmedabad-based candidates preferred
• Ready to take ownership — not just follow instructions

Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti is inviting applications for 3 Positions to support our Afforestation & Ecology Restoration initiatives.

The role involves working directly on tree plantation, Miyawaki forest development, biodiversity restoration, rainwater recharge and monitoring of plantation sites. It also includes coordination with labour teams, volunteering plantation drives, and field visits across project locations to ensure growth and care.

📍 Office Location: Ahmedabad
📍 Work Areas: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara

Basic Requirements
• Background or interest in Horticulture / Forestry / Environment / Agriculture
• Comfortable with regular field work and site visits
• Must be able to drive a two-wheeler
• Comfortable in English, Hindi & Gujarati
• Freshers / 0–2 years experience
• Ahmedabad-based candidates preferred

Partnership for a Warm Ahmedabad! 🤝

​We were delighted to host social worker Mr. Nilesh Bhatt at our AMC-supported Shelter for Urban Homeless in Shivranjani!

​The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) runs 36 FREE shelter homes (like this one!) to ensure our most vulnerable citizens have a warm, safe place to stay, year-round. No bias, no questions asked.
​ACTION STEP! 🎯

​See someone on the street? Please direct them to a shelter! We want to see everyone safe, not shivering in the cold.

🌿 Green Today, Greener Tomorrow! 🌿

A beautiful Sunday morning filled with energy, teamwork, and purpose! 💚

Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti (GRGVS) joined hands with the Global Association for Corporate Services (GACS) Gujarat Chapter for a vibrant tree plantation drive at Urban Forest, Ahmedabad.

More than 200 saplings were planted by enthusiastic volunteers — a perfect example of how corporate employee engagement and community efforts can create a lasting environmental impact. 🌱

It was truly inspiring to interact with such a senior and passionate group of professionals. Special appreciation to Mr. Pradeep Pillai for his excellent coordination and Mr. Ritesh Rajput for planting the maximum saplings! 👏

At Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti, we continue our mission of urban afforestation, environmental sustainability, and community volunteering across Gujarat. 🌳
