Visited Gamchakobra VC with the objective of covering three Piggery PGs- , , and . During the visit, meetings were conducted with the respective PG members to review their ongoing activities and assess the utilization of the available funds.
The discussions primarily focused on the remaining funds with the PGs, their planned utilization, and the need to ensure that the funds are used effectively for strengthening and expanding piggery-related activities. The members were advised to prepare a clear utilisation plan, prioritising essential requirements such as piglet procurement, feed management, livestock insurance, and other necessary inputs.
The importance of proper financial management, timely utilization of funds, and maintaining the required records was also discussed. The PG members were encouraged to use the remaining funds in a planned, transparent, and productive manner to improve the sustainability and performance of their piggery activities.

FFS-1 on transplantation of hybrid bitter gourd was successfully conducted at , under Jampuijala RD Block. The activity covered an area of #6 Kani Total.
During the session, farmers were oriented on the importance of proper transplantation practices for achieving healthy crop establishment and better productivity. The practical activity focused on selecting healthy seedlings, preparing the field, maintaining proper spacing, and transplanting the seedlings carefully to minimize root damage and transplanting shock.
Farmers were also advised on maintaining adequate soil moisture after transplantation and ensuring proper drainage to support healthy plant growth. The importance of timely intercultural operations, nutrient management, irrigation, and regular monitoring for pests and diseases was also discussed.
The FFS session provided farmers with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in scientific transplantation practices for hybrid bitter gourd cultivation. The activity was completed successfully, and farmers actively participated in the practical demonstration.

A field visit was conducted to the farm of /B, a member of Producer Group (PG), at VC under Jampuijala RD Block. During the visit, it was observed that she had planted bottle gourd and was maintaining the crop well through proper care and management practices.
During the interaction, discussions were held regarding the upcoming Farmer Field School (FFS). The beneficiary was also advised on the proper application of manure and nutrients for healthy plant growth and the use of pheromone traps for effective pest management.
The field visit provided an opportunity to assess crop performance, provide technical guidance, and encourage the adoption of improved vegetable cultivation and integrated pest management practices.

Baijanti Debbarma, a nursery beneficiary from Group (PG) under , successfully completed her first harvest of fingerlings. A total of #8,000 fingerlings were harvested and sold in the local market at a rate of #₹3 per fish, generating a total sale value of #₹24,000.
The successful harvest reflects effective nursery management practices and demonstrates the beneficiary’s growing capacity in fish seed production. The initiative also contributes to strengthening local aquaculture activities and improving the availability of quality fingerlings within the community.
The activity was further supported through a field visit by the District Manager (Fishery), TSA, along with the concerned Cluster Coordinator (CC). During the visit, the team monitored the harvesting process, assessed the nursery activities, and provided necessary technical guidance to the beneficiary.
This achievement marks an important milestone for Baijanti Debbarma and highlights the potential of community-based aquaculture initiatives to promote sustainable livelihoods and strengthen local fish production.
