ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ದೆಗೆ ಗುಡ್ ಬೈ ಹೇಳಿದ ಯಾದಗಿರಿ ಶಾಸಕ ಡಾ.ಎ.ಬಿ.ಮಾಲಕರಡ್ಡಿ

ಯಾದಗಿರಿಃ 2018 ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾದಗಿರಿ ಮತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಾಸಕ ಡಾ.ಎ.ಬಿ.ಮಾಲಕರಡ್ಡಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಗಳಿಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅವರು, ವಯಸ್ಸಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಕಣದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸ್ವಯಂ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಚುನಾವಣ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಚುನಾವಣ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸಹ ಯಾರೂ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸೇರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ವದಂತಿಗಳು ಸುಳ್ಳು. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮತದಾರರು, ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಹಿತೈಶಿಗಳು ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ರು. ಆದರೆ, ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲೆ ಇದ್ದು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
