Tents of Mercy is a Messianic ministry in the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Yam.

We serve as a spiritual community for Israelis of all backgrounds, and our humanitarian aid center provides practical assistance and support.

On this Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity, I want to take a moment to reflect on the meaning of giving, gratitude, and community. This year, I invite you to join us in supporting our humanitarian aid efforts here in the Haifa Bay Area - particularly during this season of Thanksgiving when we are reminded of the importance of togetherness and the strength of looking out for one another.

For Ethiopian Jews, this time of year also brings an important occasion - the holiday of Sigd, which this year happened to coincide with Thanksgiving Day in the USA. Sigd takes place 50 days after Yom Kippur, and is a celebration of the connection between the Ethiopian Jewish community and the Land of Israel. It is a day of prayer, fasting, and giving thanks

As we reflect on what we are thankful for, I ask you to extend that gratitude to others in the most meaningful way possible — by helping us support the people and families who rely on our services. Whether you make a one-time donation or set up a recurring gift, your generosity will go directly to aid those in need and help us carry on the mission of unity, compassion, and hope.

A trial against our people is being held at UN’s top court. No matter what the outcome be, the truth is that our Real Judge is the God of Israel. As He brought our ancestors out from under the sufferings of Egypt, He will deliver us out from all our enemies in Yeshua. Amen!
Let us declare this truth.

Towards the end of his life Israel did not see well. It is written that his eyes were very heavy and he could not see well. But when he was young, he actually took advantage of his father’s poor eyesight and earned himself the “firstborn blessing” from his father Yitzchak. However now though he is old and does not see well, he does have great spiritual foresight. He clearly saw what would occur in the end days. As such he blessed all his children and even Pharaoh. It is always good to make sure that we see well as God sees for us.
From time to time our eyes are blurred from seeing truth and God’s will for us for various reasons. I pray that God will open our eyes and that we can see in His eyes of in Yeshua!
Look forward to See you tomorrow for a time of blessed praise and fellowship from the scriptures. 😍

It's been quite a year! Who knew what was in store when 2020 began? And now, the first month of 2021 is already behind us. Though this new year is looking in some ways quite similar to the the last, our prayer is that God will bring beauty from the ashes. Since March 2020, Tents of Mercy has been unable to meet corporately on Shabbat due to lockdowns and limitations on gatherings. Like many around the world, we have moved to online services. We invite you to join us each week for Hebrew Messianic worship and English messages from Avi, Eitan and others. A new video is uploaded each Saturday at 10:30am Israel Standard Time. Just a message to say that we would really appreciate your prayers this week; the week before the country celebrates Rosh HaShana, we are distributing 600 bags like these to needy families in our local community so that they might have a means by which to celebrate over a meal for Rosh HaShana (Jewish New Year).
Some of these families include single parent families, the elderly, new immigrants to the country, lone soldiers, Holocaust survivors and those in financial difficulty.

Thanks to all of our supporters for making this possible! And thanks to all those praying for us, we couldn't do it without you!
