🔥 FIRE SAFETY WARNING – HIGH TEMPERATURES 🔥

Manorhamilton Fire Brigade LM25 is urging everyone to take extra care during the current spell of warm weather.

With more people enjoying the outdoors, the risk of wildfires is significantly increased. Please help protect our countryside, forests, wildlife and local communities by following the fire safety advice issued by the National Directorate for Fire & Emergency Management (NDFEM).

🚫 Do not light fires near woodland
🍖 Use BBQs only in designated areas
🚗 Keep forest entrances and access roads clear
📞 Report any fire immediately by dialling 999 or 112
👮 Report suspicious activity to An Garda Síochána
⚠️ Never attempt to tackle a wildfire yourself

Met Éireann has issued an Orange Wind warning for Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Cork, Kerry, Waterford & Wexford as Storm Bram approaches.💨🌊

What to Expect:
• 🌧️ Flooding in low-lying coastal areas, especially around high tide
• 🌊 Wave overtopping
• 🚗 Difficult and hazardous travel conditions
• 🪵 Debris & loose objects being blown/shifted
• 🎪 Outdoor events may be impacted or cancelled
