Update on incident in Honeypark, Dún Laoghaire today. I want to inform neighbours in Honeypark I have been in touch with the Garda Superintendent in Dún Laoghaire. There was an incident in Honeypark involving a domestic dispute today.

The Garda Armed Support Unit attended to support Gardaí and to ensure everyone's safety, but no shots were fired. All is now resolved and everyone is safe. My thanks to everyone who messaged me to bring the matter to my attention.

I would like to express gratitude to our Garda personnel for their responsiveness to this sensitive situation.

I want to thank members of the public for their cooperation for not speculating or circulating rumours online.

- Claire Owens, Political Affairs Officer with the NSPCA - National Council of SPCAs; I will be hosting a briefing for Oireachtas members, in Leinster House, in October, by the NSPCA on live 🐂 exports.

- Philippe Carr from The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, with a briefing on the ASI's pre-budget submission.

- Trina Vargo, founder and President of the US-Ireland Alliance on her poat-graduate scholarship programme that brings high-achieving American 🇺🇸 students to universities across the island of Ireland.

- Karen Clince, CEO of Tigers Childcare, on the changes they want to see made to the childcare 👶subsidy scheme.

The Dáil has been recalled, at the request of the Government, and will sit next Friday at 12 noon, to debate the delay of the reinstatement of fuel excise duty due to next month.
