'HEARTSAFE' PROJECT SURVEYS IRELAND'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE LEVELS

Croí Heart & Stroke Charity and the National Ambulance Service (NAS) invite people to participate in a survey to determine the levels of support and aftercare for community and healthcare networks and community first responders.

The HEARTSAFE survey aims to design a future first responder aftercare framework that best meets the needs of local communities. Combining trained volunteers, better AED coverage, digital innovation and structured support after resuscitation, with the aim to create faster, more co-ordinated and more resilient emergency response systems that improve survival rates.

Croí Heart & Stroke Charity will co-ordinate all Irish pilot activities for HEARTSAFE, working closely with National Ambulance Service (NAS), Galway City Council and Sligo County Council
