Bat and Moth Bioblitz this Saturday at Golashane Nature Reserve, Co Meath A82VE86, Saturday 1st August 8pm
Join Green Foundation Ireland for a bat and moth walk and talk this Saturday.
It will start at 8pm with a vegetarian potluck picnic. After the feast, Donna Mullen and Brian Keeley will show you all the bats and the work they have been doing on the nature reserve, and our experts from Connecting Cabra will set up a moth trap. Early next morning we will check the traps and log the moths with the Biodiversity Data Centre.

It's awful when you come back to your car after a dawn survey to discover that your car has been smashed up and all your bat equipment is stolen.
It happened to us this morning in Dublin.
Thanks to the Gardai for their help. If anyone sees odd bat equipment and fibrescopes for for sale very cheaply, let me know. It could be our stuff!
