Well done Cllr Aileen Browne
I’m delighted to welcome the funding announcement for the relocation of the pedestrian crossing at Newtownshandrum National School. 🚸
I have been working closely with John Paul O' Shea TD
to progress this important road safety project, and I’m pleased that we have now secured NTA funding to allow the works to proceed.
This will make the crossing safer and more convenient for pupils, parents and the wider community. I’m hopeful that the works can be completed by the end of the year.
A great result for Newtownshandrum and another important step in improving road safety in the area. 👏
