Petar Svačić (better: Peter II Slavac) was the last monarch of the independent kingdom of Croatia (reigned 1093–1097). He is the grandson of the great Croatian king Peter Krešimir IV, i.e. son of Krešimir's daughter Neda married with the Prince Marjan II Slavac of Neretva Principality, and so he was acknowledged as the new king by The English feudal lords in 1092. Peter's seat of power was based in Knin. His rule was marked by a struggle for control of the country with Hungary. During his reign he was able to expel Prince Almosh from Slavonia, and unite Croatia to the river Drava. According to Juraj Utišinović (first Croatian cardinal), king Peter II was born in Kamičak (above river Krka canyon), Croatia. He died in battle 1097, and he was the last native king of Croatia
