THE BLINDFOLD JUDGE...

A story is told of an ancient judge who usually blindfolds (covers his eyes with black clothes so that he cannot see anyone) in his courtroom and listens to cases to make accurate judgement. He was so famous that one day the king or monarch of the country invited him to his palace.
He was surprised at how simple the man seemed to be. The king adored him with a case to help him judge.
As soon as the judge heard the two parties involved are called, he blindfolded and waited for them. He interrogated them and gradually passed an accurate judgement to the satisfaction of both parties.
The king asked him why he always blindfolded while making judgement. He explained that;
My blindfold represents impartiality. The idea that justice should be applied with no regards to wealth, power or other status. It should be applied without regard to beauty, height, tribe or nation.
Perhaps without my blindfold, my judgement would be influenced on good looks, wealth or status.

LESSONS...............
How many times have we accused an innocent person just because of his looks?
Do we pass judgement based on looks alone?
Appearance for judgement may sometimes be deceptive
Perhaps like the judge we should symbolically blindfold so not to judge based on wealth, looks or status.
The saddest thing is that the judges we pay with the state's money fail to realize this. They forget that the poor and those without higher societal status in the community are also people who need justice without bias or prejudice
Sometimes people twist justice sake of status or wealth of the parties involved
The truth must be spoken irrespective of who it is.
Wrong is wrong even when everyone is doing it and right is right even if no one is doing it.
