The NCCE has intensified public education on substance abuse in Wassa Akropong through a radio and TV programme on Future FM/TV. Officials addressed the causes, effects, and remedies of drug abuse, including the misuse of painkillers and energy drinks. The NCCE will collaborate with mental health professionals to strengthen future awareness campaigns.

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has called on learners of Presbyterian and St. Peter's Junior High Schools in Sekondi, Western Region, to uphold honesty, integrity, and respect for the law as essential values for responsible citizenship.

The appeal was made by the Deputy Chairman of the NCCE in charge of General Services, Mr. Victor K. Brobbey, Esq., during an educational engagement held as part of the Commission's 2026 Annual Citizenship Week celebrations.

NCCE Amenfi Central, in collaboration with the District Budget Office and Information Services Department, educated residents on the importance of paying property rates, market tolls, obtaining building permits, and registering land. Citizens were reminded that local taxes fund community development and that nation-building begins with civic responsibility.

NCCE Amenfi Central joined the National Clean-Up Exercise to promote environmental sanitation and civic responsibility. Through clean-up activities and mobile van education, residents were encouraged to dispose of waste properly, keep their communities clean, and make sanitation a daily habit.
