MUNICIPAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE RECEIVES A BRAND NEW TEACHERS’ BUNGALOW FROM THE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR SAVELUGU CONSTITUENCY

The Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate under the supreme leadership of Alhaji Mohammed Abdul-Majeed extends sincere gratitude to the Member of parliament for the Savelugu Constituency; her ladyship Hon. Hajia Fatahiya Abdul-Aziz for prioritising and championing the course of education in the Savelugu Municipality. The directorate recognises and appreciates her stellar contribution towards providing inclusive, quality education for the Savelugu people.

At an occasion for the commissioning of a teachers’ bungalow at Kukobila, it was a heartwarming moment for us at the Municipal Education Directorate, considering the avalanche of academic dividends that the municipality stands to reap from such a developmental project.

Indeed! The occasion was a harbinger of academic prosperity, institutional pride, professional growth and societal development.
The directorate gives its word to the honourable M.P that the quaters will be put in to proper use and methodically maintained at all times.

Meet Ms. Diana Kumah, a high-spirited, soft-spoken and sophisticated goddess of brilliance and beauty.

She is the newly appointed Coordinator, at the Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate in-charge of second cycle institutions and the Girls Model School.

Ms. Diana is a born leader, goal-getter, and a result-oriented purist whose footprints remain remarkably indelible in the advancement of the educational prospects of young girls and even boys alike.

Indeed! She is an asset to the directorate in the realm of educational advancement, academic excellence and character development.

MUNICIPAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE RECEIVES SIX HUNDRED (600) PIECES OF FURNITURE FROM SAVELUGU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY TO BOOST QUALITY EDUCATION DELIVERY

Earlier yesterday, the Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate heaved a sigh of relief when it received a whopping six hundred (600) pieces of furniture from the Savelugu Municipal Assembly for further distribution to deserving schools.

The handing over of the furniture came at the most appropriate hour when the directorate has been reeling under intense pressure and discomfort, with complaints from schools that suffer very limited supply of dual desks where students lie on their bellies like lizards to write.

Tell you the truth! The short supply of furniture in our schools has been an age-long menace hindering the smooth flow of teaching and learning and reducing quality therein.

The directorate, therefore, remains eternally grateful while commending highly, the efforts of the Savelugu Municipal Chief Executive and his team at the assembly for the timeous intervention with the furniture support. Indeed! This will surely make a huge positive change in education delivery within the municipality.

We anticipate more of such support so that we can make education overly attractive in the Savelugu enclave.

‼️INAUGURATION OF A WORKING COMMITTEE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GIRLS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN SAVELUGU‼️

The leadership of the Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate and the Municipal Assembly are passionately and collaboratively working around-the-clock to ensure a remarkable transformation of the educational fortunes of students, educators and the generality of the masses in the Savelugu area.

By the selfless commitment of these two institutions to duty and function, Savelugu is fast becoming a hub for educational standards and academic excellence.

This time around, the education directorate and the assembly have jointly inaugurated a seven member committee to spearhead the effective establishment of a girls senior high school within the Yoo Traditional area, to purposefully whip up feminine interest in attaining higher academic laurels and to deliberately drive motivation among girls towards the pursuit of higher education.

The conception of this wise idea was by the municipal director of education who having been touched by a royal complaint from the Yoo palace relative to how lagging girls have been at educational achievements in the area.

By the relentless efforts of the education directorate harmonising seamlessly with the godlike benevolence of his royal highness; the paramount chief of the Savelugu traditional area, a 27.5 acres of land was properly secured with appropriate documentation for that purpose.

On the part of the Savelugu municipal assembly, the venerable MCE is pledging to construct a six unit classroom block on the said tract of land with more of such projects to follow, signalling the immediate commencement of

CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIX UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AWARDED TO SAGYARIDOO COMPANY LIMITED

The Savelugu Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Municipal Education Directorate has cheerfully awarded a contract for the construction of six unit classroom block to Sagyaridoo Company Limited. The said project is to be sited at Savelugu Experimental Primary School.

The award of the contract and the ex*****on of same is a timely intervention by the directorate to purposefully ease the devastating congestion impeding progress and quality of teaching and learning in the said school.

Given the inherent significance of the project, the esteemed municipal education director appealed to the contractor; Alhaji Ahmad who is is already on site as we speak, to as a matter of urgency complete the project within six calendar months.

On his part, the contractor vowed to complete the contract in less than the stipulated time period.

We appreciate the flawless commitment of the Savelugu Municipal Education Directorate and the dedication of the Savelugu Municipal Assembly in their pursuit of development for the education sector of the municipality.
