Saboba Communication Bureau Communicating progress, amplifying development, serving Saboba.

Hon. Joseph Bukari Ninkpe, the minister of transport and Member of Parliament for the good people of Saboba Constituency, has within just one year and five months in office demonstrated remarkable commitment, dedication, and visionary leadership toward the development of Saboba.

Across every sector roads, infrastructure, health, education, and social development the impact of his leadership is visible for all to see. His administration continues to prioritize the welfare of the people through practical development initiatives aimed at improving lives and creating opportunities for the future.

It is therefore unfortunate that some individuals continue to engage in unnecessary propaganda and baseless criticism against a leader who is tirelessly working for the progress of the constituency. Development is a process, and no meaningful transformation happens overnight. What matters most is the clear direction, commitment, and steady progress being witnessed across Saboba today.

We also commend the District Chief Executive, Honourable George Wumbei, whose unwavering support and collaboration with the MP and Minister have greatly contributed to advancing the developmental vision for the constituency. His dedication and strong leadership continue to complement the efforts of the government in ensuring that the people of Saboba benefit from quality governance and development.

As communicators and concerned citizens, we urge everyone to rise above politics of hatred, misinformation, and unnecessary attacks. Let us rather support leaders who are working diligently to transform our communities and improve the lives of the people.

The Ministry of Transport - GH wishes to inform the general public that transport fares in Ghana cannot be adjusted by any single transport union or association acting independently. Any review or adjustment of transport fares is undertaken through broad stakeholder consultations and mutual agreement between transport operators, unions, and the relevant regulatory authorities.

The Honourable Minister for Transport Hon. Joseph Bukari Ninkpe has therefore emphasized that no transport union or group has the mandate to unilaterally declare or implement transport fare increases without proper engagement and approval processes.

Government remains committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and continuous dialogue in decisions concerning the transport sector, while safeguarding the interests of both commuters and transport operators.

The public is therefore encouraged to disregard any unauthorized announcements and rely only on official communication from the appropriate authorities concerning approved transport fare adjustments.

A significant step toward development was witnessed yesterday in Kpalba as technical engineers officially arrived on site to begin initial works on the much-anticipated bridge project.

The commencement of these preliminary activities signals more than just the start of construction preparations; it reflects a growing commitment to delivering critical infrastructure for the area. Residents across the district view the project as a transformative intervention that will enhance transportation, improve accessibility, stimulate local economic activity, and strengthen connections between Saboba and neighbouring communities.
