We were truly honored and excited to welcome a strong team from EduSpots to visit us. Our Catalysts and Sparks could not hide their joy. Their visit was to see the work we are doing as a team and to understand the kind of support we need to keep the positive change going.

During their time with us, we took the chance to teach our learners about what a folder is, how to create a folder, how to name a folder, how to rename a folder, and how to insert files into a folder. The learners did not just listen they practiced it themselves. They learned both step by step and hands-on, which made the lesson more fun and clear.

We made sure every learner understood the process and felt free to ask questions. After the lesson, we divided them into three groups for presentations:
• Group 1 explained what a folder is and how to create and name it.
• Group 2 showed how to rename a folder.
• Group 3 demonstrated how to insert files into a folder.

It was beautiful to watch. The learners did an amazing job with confidence and teamwork. 👏

The EduSpots team was impressed and encouraged us to continue working hard and shaping young minds. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do to make a real difference in the lives of our learners and in our community.

Together, we are building skills, confidence and a brighter future. 💻

Yesterday, Rebecca Acheampong was completely flabbergasted and deeply mesmerized, her face filled with joy and surprise as she realized she could now perform all these wonderful computer skills with confidence.

We continued to teach them how to hide all the icons on the desktop and how to restore them again smoothly. Due to time constraints, we had to end the lesson there, even though the excitement in the room showed they were ready to learn more.

Rebecca paused, looked at the screen, and said with pure shock, “Am I really the one doing all these computer skills now?”

I laughed and told her, “Rebecca, this is only the starting point. Greater skills are still ahead of you.”

Life is not about where you are standing today, but who is guiding you and the opportunities you decide to take seriously. When a door like this opens, don’t hesitate enter, learn, and grow.

Every opportunity taken with seriousness becomes a turning point, and that is what builds confidence in anyone who is ready to improve and become a better version of themselves.

Let us come together with one purpose to raise a generation that will grow into great and responsible leaders. A generation filled with wisdom, guided by courage, driven by passion, and grounded in positivity to lead with integrity and vision.

The future is not built by chance, it is shaped by the support, mentorship and opportunities we give today. When we invest our time, knowledge and encouragement into the young ones around us, we are not just helping individuals we are building stronger communities and a better tomorrow for all.

Today, Ejura Spot. The DIGILIT strand learners (Sparks) had a fun time learning about the computer. The sparks were taken on a simple and exciting journey to understand the computer desktop.

They learned about the main desktop and the things found on it, such as icons, the taskbar, the mouse pointer, the Start button, the notification area, and the background (wallpaper). Each part was explained in an easy way to help them understand better.

They also learned how to change the size of icons. The sparks practiced changing icons to large, medium, and small sizes, and they were shown the shortcut keys for doing this quickly.

In addition, they were taught how to arrange icons automatically and how to place icons neatly using the grid option.

In our next meeting, we will learn more exciting things. We will learn how to hide the taskbar, how to pin an icon to the taskbar, how to move the taskbar to the left, right, or center, and then move on to learning how to create a folder, and many more fun computer skills.
