Empowering SMEs to grow and thrive.

The EU-Germany-Ghana Joint Action on Jobs, Migration and Development, in partnership with the Labour Department Ghana and Stanbic Bank Ghana, presents a 3-day Financial Literacy Training for SMEs.

Designed to equip small business owners with practical skills in setting financial goals, managing money effectively, and using credit wisely, this training strengthens business performance and resilience and forms part of JMD's employment promotion efforts.

JMD is an initiative of the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ), co-funded by the European Union in Ghana and implemented by GIZ Ghana

Earlier today, the Public Employment Centre, Dambai (Labour Department) held a career guidance and counselling session for final year students of Yabram Community Day Senior High School. The theme was "What’s next after here?"

The discussion focused on preparedness to fit into employment opportunities and entrepreneurship pathways, career paths, legal ways to find a job, and GLMIS and its components. We also enlightened the students on the department's mandate and how it can benefit them.

The officers advised them to visit the facility for further assistance.
