Deputy National Organizer, Ing. Filson Apambila Awankua, Embarks on Northern Region Tour

As part of efforts to mobilize support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's 2024 presidential bid, Ing. Filson Apambila Awankua, Deputy National Organizer, has begun a tour of six regions under his purview.

On October 17, 2024, Ing. Awankua kicked off his tour in the Savanna Region, meeting with regional leadership of the FoB'08 Foundation to emphasize the importance of reaching out to every registered voter and promoting Dr. Bawumia's vision.

He also highlighted the benefits of political party volunteerism, including networking and political rewards.

The regional coordinator, Mr. Ayatolia, assured Ing. Awankua of the foundation's commitment to securing a majority of seats in the Savanna Region for the NPP.

Ing. Awankua's tour continued in the Northern Region, where he joined the Parliamentary Candidate of Savelegu, Hajia Fatahiya Abdul Aziz, for campaigns in five communities. He also participated in the NPP Parliamentary candidate of Wulensi's health walk and met with FoB'08 executives in Tamale.

*The merged NPP Volunteer Group RRU 4 DMB/FoB'08 Pays Courtesy Call on Upper East Regional Minister*

The members of the merged New Patriotic Party (NPP) volunteer groups, Rapid Response Unit for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (RRU 4 DMB) and Friends of Bawumia 2008 Foundation (FoB'08) paid a courtesy call on the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Hafiz Bin-Salih, today. The group, led by its founder, Ing. Filson Awankua, who also serves as the national deputy organizer in charge of the five northern regions for the FoB'08 Foundation, met with the minister to introduce themselves and discuss strategies for securing victory for the NPP and its presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections.

The two volunteer groups, RRU 4 DMB and FoB'08 Foundation, are collaborating to ensure a win for the NPP and Dr. Bawumia, as well as helping most NPP Parliamentary Candidates secure their seats.

During the meeting, Ing. Filson Awankua praised the minister for his inclusive approach and efforts to engage all sectors in the region since assuming office. He assured the minister that, as first and most active indigenous political volunteer group in the region, the group is fully committed to working under his leadership as both the administrative and party head of the region, ensuring the NPP garners the necessary votes for a landslide victory.

In response, the regional minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the group's enthusiasm and commitment. He reaffirmed his willingness to collaborate with every individual and organization in the region that shares a common vision, emphasizing that no one can achieve political power alone.

The minister encouraged the group to continue their hard work, emphasizing that their collective efforts would make victory possible in the 2024 elections.

The meeting marks a strong partnership between the NPP's grassroots volunteers and the party's leadership in the Upper East Region, as they work together toward their common electoral goals.
