Mr Solomon Odartey Wellington who was until his destoolment the adopted Osu Alata Mantse with the name Nii Kwabena Bonne filed a motion in the high court to be declared osu alata mantse and to prevent the Osu Alata Mantse who was enstooled from the right lineage and family from holding himself as such. Also against the legitimate dzaasetse. The law suit was dismissed.

Osu Alata has only one stool family that is the Nii Ameng Bonney Family of the Stool House. Anyone claiming all families in Osu Alata are royal families is a liar. This doesn’t exist anywhere. Every Alata Mantse has the name Bonne. If some one is adopted it doesn’t make their family a royal family. The owners have taken their their thing.
