For the first time, the Manste Ankrah Royal Family expanded Homowo at Ankrahman and observed it in a solemn and reflective manner, without the usual celebrations on 22nd August, 2026.This decision follows the passing of some prominent members of the Family in the weeks leading up to Homowo. Out of respect for the departed, the Family chose to forgo all public festivities and performed only the traditional sprinkling of Kpokpei at the Family's most important place. The Family extends its utmost gratitude to our Divisional Chief and Head of the Family, Nii Okanta Ankrah II, for his support. We pray to our ancestors for strength, unity, and that such a loss does not befall us again.
