‎The Customs Division is a paramilitary organisation which belongs to the Operational Division of GRA and forms part of the Country’s National Security architecture. The Customs Division has offices strategically located at all points of entry and exit including harbours, airports, land borders and parcel posts as well as other inland offices. Personnel of the Customs Division are identified by uniquely designed uniforms and accessories.
‎As a first line of defense, the Division plays a crucial role of protecting the territorial integrity of Ghana through its Preventive operations at both approved and unapproved borders. The Customs Division is charged with three-fold responsibilities which include the:
‎Mobilisation of revenue from imports and exports.
‎Assisting citizens to enter into our Service in a rightful manner.
‎Facilitation of legitimate trade and
‎Provision of public security and safety
‎Departments Under Customs
‎Port Operations
‎Preventive Unit
‎Post Clearance Unit
‎Petroleum Operations
‎Suspense Regimes

‎The Ghana Customs Service is conducting recruitment in 2025, applications is in progress , To be eligible, applicants must meet specific requirements, including:
‎- *Citizenship*: Ghanaian by birth
‎- *Age*: 18-36years (non-professionals); up to 40 for professionals
‎- *Education*: Minimum WASSCE/SSCE, HND, or Degree (depending on role)
‎- *Height*: Minimum 1.68m for males and 1.60m for females
‎- *Character*: No criminal record; must be of good character and sound mind
‎
‎The recruitment process includes online application review, physical screening, medical examination, aptitude test, and interview. Available positions include Customs Officer Cadet, Assistant Inspector, Logistics/Procurement Officer, and more.

Army candidates include infantry, armour, artillery, and military police.

In addition to the general requirements stated above, applicants must possess six passes at Wassce, including English and Maths.

1. Pay Corps, subsequent to fulfilling the general requirements,

A. Six passes, including English and Maths at Wassce,

B. Having accounting or business options, and RSA stage 3 in accounting.

C. Diploma in Business Studies, accounting options, and also HND in Accounting are required. 💪💪💪
