დღეს, გაეროს გენერალურმა ასამბლეამ მიიღო რეზოლუცია „აფხაზეთიდან, საქართველო და ცხინვალის რეგიონიდან/სამხრეთ ოსეთი, საქართველო იძულებით გადაადგილებულ პირთა და ლტოლვილთა სტატუსის შესახებ“.

საქართველოს რეზოლუციას 2026 წლის სესიაზე 107-მა ქვეყანამ დაუჭირა მხარი!

მადლობას ვუხდი ყველა იმ სახელმწიფოს, ვინც გახდა ჩვენი ინიციატივის თანაავტორი და მხარი დაუჭირა რეზოლუციას.

განსაკუთრებული მადლობა საქართველოს ელჩს გაეროში, დავით ბაქრაძეს, და ყველა დიპლომატს, რომლებმაც დაუღალავად იშრომეს ამ შედეგის მისაღწევად!

საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის დღესთან დაკავშირებით, ავსტრალიის ეროვნული კარილიონის ტრადიციულ პროგრამაში შეტანილ იქნა საქართველოს ეროვნული ჰიმნი და ქართული მელოდიები.

To mark the Independence Day of Georgia, the national anthem of Georgia and Georgian melodies were included in the traditional program of the Australian National Carillon in Canberra.

To mark Georgia's Independence Day, the Australian national Carillon in Canberra was illuminated in the colours of the National Flag of Georgia.

Had the pleasure of interacting with and bidding farewell to Sydney-based German lawyer of the highest caliber (European Counsel for one of the top Australian law firms Hall&Wilcox), also scholar and expert of constitutional law, a good friend of Georgia and a friend of mine, Dr. Wolfgang Babeck

Wolfgang has a significant professional and academic connection to Georgia through his long-standing involvement in Georgian constitutional and legal reforms, in particular:

- worked for around 20–25 years on constitutional and legislative reforms in Georgia;

- participated in drafting and advising on reforms of the Georgian Constitution and chaired important constitutional conferences in Georgia in 2010 and 2017;

- In recognition of his contributions to Georgia’s legal and constitutional development, Ilia State University in Tbilisi awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2015. He has been described as “an integral part of Georgia’s constitutional history”;

- He also authored works focused on Georgia’s constitutional evolution, including the book “Rewriting a Constitution: Georgia’s Shift Towards Europe”;

- Some academic references cite him as a contributor to Georgia’s constitutional drafting process between 1993–1995 and several constitutional reforms that followed in later years.
