Welcome to Navigate Professional Support and Advice.
Navigate is social work-informed support from me, Jason Marshall. It is my belief that more needs to be done to help people become self-sufficient, retain independence and to arrange their own help. This can mean having advice and assistance on-hand on an ongoing basis to cope, to make changes or to thrive. It may mean problem solving a family caring issue. It may mean devising care in your home using local people - care in your community FROM your community. All these things I used to dream of doing as a local authority Social Worker but such services, valuable as they are, are no longer built to stick with you for the long term or to provide tailored support to you.
There are independent Social Workers but the fees are usually prohibitive. There are other services providing elements of this support but Navigate is informed by my many years of practice, training, specialist expertise and understanding, and will respond to you with no agenda or criteria (but with a clear sight of ethical and defensible practice).
