A Year of London

A Year of London A once a week photo guide of London over 2013 - http://blog.nomadicvision.com/london/ - you're welcome to share the images.

As a travel photographer, I spend most of my time trying to create beautiful images of places. At the start of 2013, I realized that I lived in one of the greatest cities in the world, but I never photograph it. With that in mind, I started a project, aiming to photograph a London site once a week. I hope to capture London as it is - the spectacular tourist sites, the neighbourhood secrets and the

quirky gems. Every time I photograph a site, I will post about the experience and lay out what I did to get the shots. Other ways to follow:

It was a bit misty over London tonight, but that sky made it totally worth it.

Whilst taking this photo, I got rained on and also got a little sun burnt. It's unpredictable weather like that that makes the London skyline so dramatic.

Taking in the London skyline from the Royal Observatory, it hit me how iconic London is. We have the prime meridian (green laser) putting London as the point from where all time zones are measured. The towers of the City of London, possibly the greatest financial center in the world and the Thames, once the world's busiest harbour. What a city! Feel free to share.

If you're wondering where I've been, it could have been one of about 50 different countries. Follow me on instagram to get regular content from around the world, but also of London.

Dear friends and fellow photographers

I’m proud and excited to announce that after many months of hard work our new app for photographers, SNAPP Guides,is now available on iOS in the App Store (coming soon on Android)!

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/snapp-guides-connecting-photographers/id1062854904?mt=8

My SNAPP Guide to London is one of a collection of destination guides that offers photographers a new way to plan their shoot and discover new places to photograph.

If you could take the time to write a short review on the App Store, this would be a fantastic boost.

Thanks so much for your support!
