🏊‍♂️ Rookie Lifesaving & Water Safety Crash Course at Pool in the Park 🏊‍♀️

Ready to take your swimming beyond lengths and strokes?

This exciting Rookie Crash Course is designed for swimmers Stage 7 and above, introducing essential lifesaving skills and water safety knowledge in a fun and engaging environment.

Throughout the week, swimmers will:
🛟 Learn key water safety principles
❤️ Be introduced to CPR and basic first aid skills
🏊 Develop lifesaving and rescue awareness
💪 Build confidence, responsibility, and decision-making around water

👩‍🏫 Led by Margaret
📅 3rd August – 7th August
⏰ 10:30am – 11:30am
💷 £25 for the full week

Learning how to stay safe in and around water is a skill for life. This course is the perfect next step for swimmers looking to develop valuable lifesaving knowledge while having fun in the pool.

Rookie Lifeguard is coming to Pool in the Park. Keep an eye on this page for Rookie sessions starting in mid-June on Tuesdays.

Rookie Lifeguard is a fun and active programme that teaches young people essential water safety, rescue and lifesaving skills. Sessions help build confidence in and around the water while developing teamwork, fitness and leadership skills through practical activities and challenges. It’s a great next step for confident swimmers who are interested in progressing towards lifeguarding or simply want to improve their swimming and safety knowledge.
