The Dorset Police mobile Police Station will be at Allendale Community Centre, Wimborne : Tuesday 9 June, 11am - 1pm

Local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) will be available for you to:

• Speak face to face about any concerns in your community
• Report crimes or issues (in addition to using the 101-phone service or reporting online)
• Receive crime prevention advice

This is an opportunity to meet your local neighbourhood policing team and raise matters that are important to you. No appointment is needed - simply drop by.

For any other enquiries, please visit a Dorset Police front office counter in Bournemouth, Weymouth, or Blandford - details of these are available on the website.

The mobile police station will continue to tour locations across Dorset each month.

If you have a landline, your phone provider will be writing to you about a changeover to digital that must be completed by January 2027.
Landlines are not being phased out, but the UK’s telephone network is being upgraded, so landline services are changing.
For most, switching over will be straightforward, but some people may need new equipment or support to make the changes.

Dorset Council is trialling a temporary footway on Julian's Bridge to provide a safe route for pedestrians, created by making the bridge into a signal traffic lane with temporary traffic signals.

The trial will run from 26 May until 3 July 2026 to give a clear understanding of the effects of the lights in different circumstances, including special events, school half term and when traffic is at normal levels.

Dorset Council want to hear your views on the bridge and the trial of traffic lights and to understand the impacts on residents, businesses and visitors to the area.
