"As the RideLondon cycling marathon came through Wimbledon, we supported the cyclists and entertained visitors with a street party on Wimbledon Hill Road. Thank you to Elys Shopping for their partnership on the day, thank you to Cafe Manouche for their soultry swing music, Extreme Mountain Bike Show for their amazing bike show and Quirky Bars for their bicycle bar & tasty drinks. A mighty big bravo to all riders who took part in RideLondon."

Why not have a day out in Wimbledon during the school half term. There’s lots of fascinating facts to find out and interesting places to explore along the Wimbledon Way. Pick up the Wimbledon Way leaflet from the Love Wimbledon Information Point in Centre Court and print out the Family Trail from here. It has lots of fun facts that children, and adults, will enjoy finding.

Tell us about what you discover in Wimbledon and what you like best. The first 50 replies will receive a free copy of a special edition DVD and book about Wimbledon’s sporting history – Common Ground. The DVD also has some unique footage celebrating the London hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
