It was fabulous to be out canvassing around Ashton today, accompanied by our amazing MP for Runcorn & Helsby Sarah Pochin MP! Lots of smiley faces & support when the people opened the door and realised who was on the doorstep! 🩵

Imagine the surprise for these two chaps, who are both Reformers, when they walked around the corner and bumped straight in to Sarah 🤩

Look out for us tomorrow, when we will be doing it all over again!

What a fantastic day yesterday really was, Nigel’s visit to Hawkley Hall, Winstanley & Ashton but to name a few, really emphasised the message of family, Community & Country first, with generations from young to senior turning out to shake Nigel’s hand & thank him for finally giving them genuine hope for the future 🩵🙏

This morning was definitely one of the highlights of the Makerfield campaign, to date.

To see the look on the local residents faces when introduced to Nigel on their doorstep was a picture! 🩵

His ability to engage with people on the doorstep is something to behold 🙃

Following today’s Gazebo event in the middle of Ashton, we met up with Rob Kenyon for Makerfield, who is not only one of our newly elected local Councillors but also our incredibly hard working candidate, for the upcoming Makerfield By-election.

Rob was showing us that he has shook so many hands in the last 2 weeks, he is getting callouses 😂 in fairness, he is actually the only candidate that I’ve seen on the doorstep so far on this campaign! 💪🩵

So if you want a hard working, dedicated, local guy to be your voice in Parliament, make sure to turn out on 18th June and Vote for Rob Kenyon, Reform UK. Let’s not forget Sarah’s win in Runcorn, where it came down to just 6 votes 😳 Every vote counts! 🙏🩵

The Return of the Gazebo today was a massive success!

I’m sure it’s no surprise to anybody these days, that our Gazebo events generate enormous love and support, and today’s event in Ashton Town Centre was no different! 🩵 Thanks to everyone who beeped, tooted, waved and came to say hello 👋

These events always boost morale, which is why we hope to see you out there again soon

It’s an added bonus that the team managed to collect 6 rubbish sacks of litter, whilst we were there for 2 hours today!💪

Found this little fella on the drive tonight having fallen from its nest, parents are nowhere in sight and lots of cats about. Is there anybody local to Wigan who is a legitimately qualified specialist in dealing with this kind of bird which is apparently a Eurasian Collared Dove 🤷🏻‍♂️
Will deliver and pay for any treatment if it helps.

It was great to catch up with Rob again today, our fabulous local candidate for Makerfield who continues to work hard on the campaign trail, before heading out with another one of our many enthusiastic canvas teams, into Hindley. Followed by a hard earned drink in the The Hare and Hounds, Hindley 🍻

It’s going to be a really tight election this… if you’re a Reformer, please make sure you turn out to vote on 18th June 🙏🩵.

If you support any other Centre Right parties, please don’t waste your vote and let Burnham slide through the middle 🥺. We all know it’s just a stepping stone on his political career path and that the good people of Makerfield won’t see him for dust!
