Yesterdays interview panel for the Executive Chef position, we welcomed candidates into our private dining room to showcase their culinary skills before taking part in a formal interview.

The panel of three, including our resident Kate, played an important role throughout the day. Involving our residents in the recruitment process is incredibly important to us, giving them the opportunity to ask questions that matter most to them and helping us find the right person to lead our kitchen team.

If you haven't heard the news, we are currently recruiting for an Executive Chef following Andy's recent promotion to the divisional role of Catering Manager. This is a fantastic achievement for Andy and a true reflection of his dedication, passion, and commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences across our wider Trust.

We would like to thank all of the candidates who attended and showcased their talents, and we look forward to welcoming the right person to our Wellford family.

Today we celebrated the start of the World Cup in style! 🌍⚽

Everyone got into the spirit with our Flags of the World and football quiz, alongside some delicious cupcakes and refreshing cocktails. It was a fantastic way to kick off the tournament and enjoy some friendly competition together.

We're excited to follow all the World Cup action over the coming weeks and can't wait to see what the tournament has in store. Let the games begin! 🎉🏆⚽

Last week, we enjoyed the first of our Henley boat trips, and thankfully the weather was on our side! We had a fantastic day cruising along the river, taking in the sights and enjoying great company.

Due to the success of the trip, we have two more boat outings booked over the next few months. This will give us the opportunity to get as many people out on the water as possible and allow more of our residents to enjoy this wonderful experience.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🚤☀️

Our residents, staff, and a family member enjoyed an early morning trip to our local Notcutts Garden Centre today. 🌼🌿

The visit was a wonderful opportunity to gather inspiration and ideas for our upcoming Trust in Bloom competition, while also enjoying time together out in the community.

From colourful flowers to creative garden displays, there was plenty to admire and discuss. Most importantly, the outing brought everyone together, creating meaningful moments, shared conversations, and lots of smiles along the way.

A lovely morning of community spirit, teamwork, and blooming inspiration! 🌸🌻🌷
