Regal Rolls-Royces rolling up on Tuesday 9 September to display at Wells.

On Tuesday 9 September 2025, pre-WW2 Rolls-Royces will roll up all but silently on The Green in front of Wells Cathedral. It could be Bertie Wooster or the Earl of Grantham behind the wheel. It will be members of the 20-Ghost Club who will be touring Somerset in early September.

The 20-Ghost Club – one of the world’s oldest car clubs, having celebrated 75 years last year – focuses on Rolls-Royces early cars, with nothing older than 1940 allowed. The emphasis is on the very early Silver Ghost and 20hp models and their derivatives. It was the original Silver Ghost, taking part in the 15,000-mile challenge, which won Rolls-Royce its sobriquet of the finest car in the world.

Cars will be on display between 10:30am and 2pm. Please come along and chat to some of the owners.
