To mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the council is flying the RAF Ensign flag today at the Town Hall.

The Battle of Britain was a significant aerial battle during World War II, when the Royal Air Force defended the UK against attacks by the German Luftwaffe. It is widely seen as a key turning point in the war.

On this important anniversary, our thoughts are with those who helped secure peace and those that never made it home.

This September, we are showing Michael, starring Jafaar Jackson. The story of pop superstar Michael Jackson - from his extraordinary early days in the Jackson 5 to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fuels a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.

For Heritage Open Days, we are delighted to welcome Raunds & District History Society to Saxon Hall - Raunds for their 'Raunds: Our People, Our Past' exhibition on the town's heritage! 🙌

The display is free to view at the entrance of Saxon Hall, and will be up until Thursday 17 Sept. Why not have a wander down and learn more about the history of where you live? 🤔

It's our Saturday Market AND our Garage Sale this Saturday! 🙌

This month, as it's Batman Day, we have the one and only Batman joining us on the Square, who will be doing walk-around magic and meet and greets with everybody. We've also got the fantastic Georgia May bringing her incredible voice with her for some live music on the Square. 🦇🎶

It's also the September Garage Sale, and starting today, you can purchase your map from either the Post Office or Raunds Town Hall for just £1 (cash only). On the day, you'll also be able to purchase the map at the Square, or access the map for FREE via the Raunds Town App.

Bring the whole family down for a fantastic atmosphere, plenty of shopping, and free entertainment!

🛍️ Variety of Stalls – Support local businesses, grab a treat, and browse unique stalls.
🎶 Georgia May - Live Music on the Square.
🦇 Batman - Meet Batman and enjoy his walk-around magic.
👜 Garage Sale - Grab a map from the Square and start shopping!

Did you know that you can pick up a FREE speed awareness sticker for your bins at Raunds Town Hall? 🙌

These stickers are a great visual reminder to motorists to drive safely and to stick to the speed limit along roads. It is believed that temporary, community-based signs of this nature have a greater effect than more permanent signs.

Raunds residents are welcome to pick up a sticker for their wheelie bin from the Town Hall between 09:30-14:30 on Mon-Fri.
