While some of the team were preparing for the weekend’s Respond for Responders event, others were putting themselves through their paces.

Last night, Sam spent over two hours meticulously cleaning and detailing one of our vehicles, ensuring it was looking its best and ready for the event.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the county, five team members successfully completed their annual fitness test, helping to ensure they remain operationally ready for the demands of search and rescue.

A huge thank you to Waitrose & Partners Kingsthorpe for their incredible donation of £1,500 through their in-store Community Matters nomination scheme.

As a volunteer-led charity, support like this makes a real difference.

STOLEN CHARITY POTS
We've been informed that one of our charity pots has been stolen over night, along with a number of others from The Oliver Twist Pub in Irthlingborough. Not only is Stealing a reprehensible crime but stealing from charities all of which aim to do good in the world, makes this doubly heart breaking.
All our Pots have unique code numbers and are traceable/identifiable, If someone comes to place one they will carry Valid Team ID, and be willing to have you check this.
If you think you have any information please contact Northamptonshire Police

Have you seen Charlie?

We are appealing for help to find 17-year-old boy Charlie, who has links with Northampton.

Charlie who is about 5ft 8in of a slim build with short brown hair was last seen on Tuesday, May 28.

Unfortunately, we do not have a good description of his clothing, which is described as dark in colour. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and would like anyone who has seen Charlie, or knows of his whereabouts, to call Northamptonshire Police on 999 quoting MPK/1526/26.

What does it take to run a 100% volunteer-led Search and Rescue team? Let’s talk about the dedication behind the high-vis.
During , we’re looking at what our team gives to Northamptonshire:
0: The amount our members get paid.
1: Shared mission—to find vulnerable missing people and bring them home.
24/7/365: Our availability for Northamptonshire Police, rain or shine.
Thousands: Of hours dedicated each year to live callouts, rigorous training, and fundraising.
Whether it on land or water we are there.

Behind every deployment is a volunteer who sacrificed their sleep, working hours, their weekend, or their family time. We couldn't be prouder of this team.
Thank you to our volunteers, and a huge thank you to the employers and families who support them when the call goes out!

To everyone else in the community who volunteers we salute you too - feel free to tag who you volunteer for, let's celebrate everyone!
