Introducing The Drop In Cafe!

Serving up healthy, affordable food and drinks, with options catering for a range of dietary requirements, The Drop In is more than just a café — it’s a place to connect, recharge and feel welcome. 💚

Kate and her team will be creating a kind, safe and inclusive space for skaters, families, young people and the whole community to come together.

Good food. Good people. Good vibes.
Coming June to the Skatepark.

Welcome to Christian Butler, who was co-opted onto the Council on Monday's Annual Meeting of the Council.

A little bit about your new Perranporth Ward councillor. Christian moved to Bolingey in 2024, though Cornwall, especially this area, has been a major part of his life for over 20 years. Through running a local conservation-focused tree care business, as well as being active in the community socially, he has built strong connections with a wide range of people across the parish and surrounding areas. Christian has said that these experiences give him a grounded understanding of local concerns and community views. Christian wants to help ensure local people’s voices are properly heard and to strengthen the connection between the council and the community it represents.

📣 Volunteering Opportunities at the Memorial Hall – They Need You!

The Memorial Hall is a vital part of the community, and they are looking for people to help keep it running for everyone to enjoy. This is due to the retirement of key volunteers in May 2027.

They will have some important volunteer roles available, including:

Committee members (including Chair, Secretary, Treasurer)
Bookings Coordinator
Caretaker

These roles are a fantastic way to support your local community, help shape the future of the hall, and ensure it continues to thrive as a hub for events, groups, and activities. If you are interested, please attend the AGM Meeting THIS THURSDAY!

📅 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
📍 Memorial Hall
🕖 Thursday 21st May at 7.00 pm

This is a great opportunity to find out more about what’s involved, ask questions, and see how you could get involved—whether in a committee role or in other supporting capacities.

Everyone is welcome. If you’ve ever thought about giving something back to your community, they would love to see you there. For more information, please contact the Memorial Hall direct.
