Resident doctors at Hillingdon Hospitals are due to take industrial action from 7am on Monday 15 June until 6.59am on Friday 19 June.

We are working hard to ensure we minimise disruption to services.

Patients will be contacted directly if their appointment needs to be rescheduled. If you don't hear from us, you should attend your appointment as planned.

From September, knee surgery patients at Mount Vernon Hospital will benefit from a new surgical robot.

A team of three surgeons plan to initially perform 80 surgeries using the new technology and increase this number from March 2027.

This is expected to reduce length of stay and some patients are expected to be able to go home the same day as their procedure.

📅 Tuesday 19 May 12noon, to Wednesday 20 May,12noon
📅 Thursday 21 May 12noon, to Friday 22 May, 12noon

Disruption is likely to continue into the afternoons and evenings on these days. If you have an appointment, please allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes where possible.
