We are here to help and support new and existing carers wanting to join our family. You don’t have to own a property to explore fostering with RFS. Your tenancy must permit fostering, and your home needs to be safe, secure and have suitable space for a child.

Every household is considered individually. We can talk through your circumstances and explain what would be needed before you decide whether to apply.

RFS foster carers have a supervising social worker who provides regular guidance and supervision, helps them prepare for meetings, and works with the wider team around a child.

📚 Learning continues after approval through ongoing training.

📞 Out-of-hours advice is also available for urgent issues, with additional support shaped around the child’s needs.
